- Hi.
-
- I'm using AmiTCP together with THOR 2.22. Is it considered normal, that 150
- articles take 7-9 minutes to get loaded. This happens regularly here in
- Luxembourg. I'm using 14.400 dialup.
-
- 1. Is this a problem of my setup (AmiTCP or THOR) ?
-
- 2. Is it due to the system itself (NNTP) ?
-
- 3. Is it due to some faultly behaviour on the newsserver's side ?
-
- On top of that, it happens very often that the last articles (2 or 3) are
- not transmitted or only after a few minutes. To stay with the example
- above, 148 mails were read in 7 minutes, while the connection was
- interrupted by me after 10 minutes, without beeing able to get the last
- 2 articles.
-
- TIA
